My bf & I live off less than minimum wage, both of us being disabled. Our rent is $509.00, electric & water over $200.00, phone bill $160. Car insurance $70, internet $55. That's not including the medications I take that aren't covered by medicaid, food which sometimes we literally do without, living off jars of peanut butter that we got for free from a charity, that have been put of date for more than a year. But we survive, & in fact we hold our heads up that we can have a roof over our heads. We don't drink any sodas, & any food we buy has to be on sale. I know ur saying why not give up the internet, well in this world we can't do without it. I admire most people that live on minimum wage. I would feel rich if I had that kind of money.

I guess I clean my microwave more than most but I can't stand when it gets dirty because the thought of other food being cooked in there with splatters from who knows when is disgusting. But my mom says the mug idea is a great way to clean it, she lets it steam in there for a little bit though & uses vinegar in the water.

I just want to start with congratulations on buying your new apartment. Secondly I want to say, it's yours now baby, choose whatever color makes you happy. You said you have a white theme in your apartment, well I'm sure you can't go wrong with a white stove. Just remember this is your home. Enjoy it! Don't stress over the small stuff & just love your house.

When I lived in NYC , I saw these in my basement apartment. At first I was terrified, mainly because I got bitten & it stung like ****! The bite really wasn't so bad so I just ignored them if I saw them. I remember a time in my life where I wanted to get rid of anything that could possibly bite or sting then I realized aka spiders & bees help more than damage. I figured the alien looking centepiede was the same. Yeah I didn't like seeing them, they freak me out but I got over it. I can tell you for sure though it was the only pest I ever had in that apartment. Now I know why.
