Beautiful... this only convinces me more that I need to paint a room navy!!! Love that wall color, what color is it?

Wow! I was not expecting that! Very pretty love that turquoise. I agree with some of the other comments that a few pieces in a second accent color would be nice to offset the blue... Red, orange, or yellow?

Going to ikea this weekend for our annual spring ikea trip! i'll have to see if they still have them in white- i wanted one for my daughters toys!

does anyone know when ikea sofas go on sale? i've seen where they give you a gift card for spending x amount, or free covers when you buy an ektorp... does anyone know if they run these annually around the same time?? i want to get an ektorp sectional, but wondering if i should wait for a sale.

Love it! I have been stalking that table for MONTHS waiting for it to be available again! I will have to settle for the side table. Where is the rug from?

Kimberly Smith

your bathroom turned out beautifully! That's a dramatic change! I think I will be copying your faux floating shelves above our toilet too, we've lived in bathroom with no shelving and very little storage for a few years now! Great job!

@ ginnielizz - I thought the same thing, it seems this task would have been better assigned the day before we made new floorplans- in case people needed help with flow, and were buying pieces accordingly. But I am still grateful for the information.

While there's not much I can do about the entryway flow, I see I have flow issues in the living/dining room due to the placement of our very large sofa. Its definitely not the right sofa for our room, we bought it off craigslist (we got an insanely good deal) with the intentions of putting it in our den for movie watching, but were using it in the living room until we get new furniture.

I think i'm out of the cure :( our dishwasher broke and instead of buying parts to fix it a second time (I do NOT recommend the Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher, this is the second time it's broken and we only bought it 3 years ago!) we're going to have to replace it with a better quality one, so that's where my cure budget is going. I'd much rather have a working dishwasher (were a family of 5, so lots of dishes) than a stylish entryway, although i'm really sad... still looking forward to seeing everyones after pics!

How often does AT do these cures? I think I need to save some money for a future cure, so I can really do what I want, and just in case something unexpected comes up again.

I've been sourcing tables for my entryway for a while now, so i've narrowed it down to 2 options. There is one 45" wide wall to put a console table on, and we have to work around a 35" baseboard heater- so the table can't have low support bar, or super low shelf to prevent it from sitting flush against the wall- which many entryway tables do have- if they fit our dimensions. Also not looking for anything made with veneer or laminate, because my kids are rough on furniture, and they just do not last in our house- which leaves me to solid wood or metal/steel. Oh, and I don't have a ton of money, looking to spend $100 or less, which means a solid wood table would have to be DIY.

So I think we DIY something like the West Elm Emmerson Console, and maybe add a shelf under the top for additional storage

or we purchase this metal and glass table

both are very different, any opinions???
Both tables are on my pinterest board along with paint colors, and before pics.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with BM Gray Owl (a light warm gray) for the entryway walls

We're painting the inside of the front door peacock blue- BM Calypso Blue.

and were DIYing a console table very similar to this one below, to fit our little entry wall.

I may fall behind with this cure though, my husband got asked last minute to fly out for work, and with 3 little kids (5, 3, and 9mth) it's hard to get anything done!
