So gorgeous. These are two of my favorite finishes - dark hardwood and marble. The combination is stunning.

The weight/support issue is one thing, but I also question the practicality of it. Do I have to clear the table and every time I need a mirror? If so, the decor in the picture is pretty misleading. Regardless, it's a really creative and lovely idea, and workable with the right lifestyle.

These are good in theory, but any backsplash with fabric, paper, art or even the plates sounds incredibly impractical. Let's not forget that a backsplash is primarily for function, protection against grease splatters and the like. It's not a decor feature in itself.

I love the rug in the dining area and the corresponding wall art. Don't think a concrete table and grey door were the best touches though...warm wood would have been cozier. Rooftop space is really pleasant as well.

I'd keep it simple and white because you already have colors going on, and a crazy cool hob/oven to feature. You could play around with backsplash tiles though, maybe a light grey only behind the stove like

Hah, I don't have kids either so this made me laugh, but I won't lie - some of the nursery design/decor posts are absolutely inspirational for a bedroom or guest room.

Good call on the Superfront colors, I agree that they're probably aerugo green and thunder grey.

It all depends on the kitchen layout, the overall appliances and how much natural light you have in there too. However since the green on the wall units is going to be super light, you don't have a lot of options regardless...a blue or grey wall color might add unnecessary visuals. I think the copper handles are a beautiful accent with the chosen colors, so I'd consider keeping the walls simple and bright white for now, and adding wooden accents (shelves etc) to complement the flooring.

Totally agreed! It's also so much more satisfying to DIY your own stuff. Although I have to say it also pays to be realistic about what you can do.

The decor seriously warms up this place, which could easily be something stark and cold. Love it, it's an inspiration for my own SF place.

I like quite a few of these but it'd be nice to see something other than the bare-bulb trend. Are there no other lights in the market?

Absolutely beautiful, especially the finish against the original hardware.

Not a fan of the backsplash, it looks like blinds were hung on there. The rest is beautiful though, especially love the navy wall.

Looks so much cleaner, but I'd have used lighter grout for this tile. I don't mind subway tile though, especially smaller versions of it that look pretty modern.
