I sought these out last February as well, after reading an article about them in the LA Times. They were expensive, but SO worth it. They were everything they were said to be - easy to peel, bursting with juice, super sweet, and just tart enough. Sumo Citrus: The Sweetest Citrus Ever? |

+1 for Roasted! Brussels sprouts and cauliflower are my favorites. Fingerling potatoes too - and you don't get all the extra cream & butter fat of mashed potatoes. Maybe mix in meats with the veggies? Thick slices of smoked bacon are popular with brussels sprouts. Help Me Show My Boyfriend That Vegetables Are Delicious! Good Questions |

I never thought much of peonies because in my mind, they were just a storybook flower from the Chinese operas my dad played (the Peony Pavilion) and I had only seen highly stylized ones from Chinese art. I saw real ones last year for the first time and I think they're gorgeous! Peonies: Could I Actually Be Starting To Like You? |

Once every month or two... maybe. We don't wear shoes at home and we don't do anything in bed except sleep, sexy-times, and the occasional internet browsing on the laptop before sleep. I would like to wash twice a month but I usually get pre-occupied with other things. How Often Do You Change Your Sheets? |

The breathing through your mouth part is interesting. If that's correct, that could explain why it wouldn't work for some people, like garyLikesToCook because you'd have to breath through your nose while eating. Best Way to Stop Onion Tears? Put Bread In Your Mouth |

After having access to and trying out several different specialty chocolate bars, I've found that I can't eat supermarket chocolate anymore. It's hard for me to eat any milk chocolate - way too sickly sweet. Stuff like Hershey's just tastes... off. The texture is wrong, the way you have to chew it and the way it melts... I feel like I'm eating fake chocolate. I won't even buy the more expensive supermarket chocolates like Lindt and Ghiradelli. Some of my favorite bars have been ones with chili dried mango and cured bacon. Has Chocolate Gone Too Far? |

We recently started using this stuff and LOVE it as well. We used it to clean our All-Clad stainless steel pots and pans (all 3, haha). We used it to clean the hard water spots off our water fixtures. We also used it to clean our brand new Emile Henry pizza stone after our first attempt at using it resulted in pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese burned onto the 500F heated stone. So Shiny! I LOVE lengua! We have great taco truck down the street from us so it's our late night comfort food. I never ate it growing up but it's big in Asian cuisine as well. Grilled beef tongue (sliced verrrry thin) is delicious at korean bbq. Nose-to-Tail Eating: Have You Had Lengua? |

I currently live at the Westgate in Pasadena. Before I moved in, they were advertising it as a "green" complex and were in the process of getting LEED silver certification. However, since then they've been bought out by a different management company so I don't know if they're still going for LEED. I couldn't find a mention of it on the website, but they do have a lot of environmentally friendly features. The apartments are fitted with energy saving appliances and automated ventilation systems. Smoking is also banned in the entire 400+ unit complex. Green Apartments for Rent in Los Angeles? Good Question |

I'm Chinese and live in Southern California - we always take our shoes off when we come into the house. There's a tiled space when you enter the front door and it's the only indoor part of the house you wear outside shoes. We keep slippers in the entranceway closet for guests slippers outside the back door if you plan on walking in the backyard. The only indoor shoes I've ever worn were Birkenstock sandals that I never ever wore outside. Do You Leave Your Shoes at the Door? | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

Growing up, I only ever had white peaches. In the summer, we would get them by the boxful from the Korean supermarket. These were GIANT peaches - soft, juicy, fragrant, sweet, and bursting with peachy goodness. I would inevitably have peach juice smeared all over my face and dribbling down my chin.
