Carrie I don't know if this was your idea, but it should be a regular post say once a week? :)

That was fun. Wish there had been more.

I got only three right and it was not because of the tours.

The only tour I don't remember at all is the one with all the gray.

The rest I remember but I pay more attention to Living rooms than any other, so that was no help.

I guess my pet peeve is when people think their pet peeves matter to anyone but themselves. Such as the pet peeve I just stated who cares. Everyone will state their likes and dislikes no matter what anyone else thinks or feel.

I like the idea but I think in this instance the plates/baskets/accessories, make the shelves look as if they are part of a kitchen and not living room.

I don't think the pictures posted were examples of rooms that are off. Remember the OP said " Here are four possible reasons why one of your rooms might not feel good when you're in it, and how you can quickly fix it." And she ask, "Does one of your rooms feel "off" to you?"

Sound like she is referring to our homes. I like many designs and don't go by anyone rules but my own. I like all but one of the designs above. But even if I did not I will never be in any of them and I am sure unless the owners of the rooms above posted them as a design dilemma, they are quite comfy in them.

I think it is safe to say most homes that don't stick with what we call "design rules" would feel off looking from the outside in. But those who created them love them.

Adrienne pleas correct if I am wrong. Were these supposed to be the example of off rooms? If so I stand corrected.
