My father planted a tree on the day of my birth. We eventually moved away and I grew up and moved out of town. When I go back home, I always pass by the old house and look at my tree. I look at it and think of my dad, who passed away earlier this year.

World Market had the all-steel stools for a time. I snagged a couple on clearance for $40. Now if only I had a bar...

I have had the "Extra Soar-age" cady for about 6 months now and really like it. It fits large salon-size bottles just fine and has lots of good features I never even thought I needed. It is actually by Umbra and can be found on Amazon with free shipping, if you have Prime.

We have a board game addiction problem, too. We store ours in the living room in a Billy bookcase, behind a frosted glass door. That way, they don't distract the eye, but they add a bit of color and are easy to access.

I don't think I would be comfortable in my living room without a coffee table. We use it as an ottoman and play games on it. I feel like the room would look oddly heavy on one side if we did not have it.

We used to have a backyard coop. We ended up getting rid of the chickens because the birds were mean tempered and actually injured a cousin of mine. The smell and the crowing aren't all that great, either.
