Perhaps its an improvement but Dairy? Really?? The phosphorus in dairy actually saps calcium from your bones! Its actually an anti-calcium and should be removed and replaced with more veggies and fruit!

I definitely think of diners, mini burgers and cute paper cones of french fries. A big punch bowl, pigs in a blanket, soft serve ice cream cones, deviled eggs... presentation and quality can dress them up. Or 'fancy' tv dinners, you can present them in their compartments but have delicious food :) Rootbeer floats and milkshakes... but I knew there must be more so I googled it and this site might help alot :)

I am gluten free so I often make my own crackers... there are some good ones out there but as I live in a rural area in Canada they can be really pricey!

While I won't be rushing out to buy this specific perforated spoon, it is a fantastic idea! Something I will have to try with a spoon I already have at home.
Thanks for the Idea!

There are lots of things that are easy for one, like stirfry, salad, any type of meat with a baked potato and steamed veg. I am also a fan of the make for 2 and you have lunch the next day :)

Eggs are the way to go! One time we over salted our brine and the smoked salmon was so salty it was almost inedible except in scrambled eggs (or omelets or quiche - you get the idea) or in a creamy seafood pasta. We got rid of the over salting though I am sure that if you would use regular smoked salmon it would subdue the salt and smoke even further.

Popping your own popcorn is a great alternative to chips or microwave popcorn - Scary! An olive oil mister will allow just enough good fat to get in there and help any additional seasonings stick. I really like the soy sauce idea! And if you want to use a little fat for flavor really finely grated parmesan will melt onto warm popcorn and a little really does go along way with some fresh cracked black pepper!

I like to saute shredded cabbage and add bean sprouts, shredded carrots, ciltantro, onion, ginger and soy sauce, let it cool and roll it up in rice paper wraps, or you could make eggrolls. (Bonus Eggrolls freeze well and can be reheated!)

I was just having this conversation with my boyfriend. I have been researching what the proper way to eat. I don't eat alot of meat and but was raised to eat it everyday. I have sampled eating vegetarian, vegan even raw. While I am an animal lover I can't help but think about us biologically. Look at your teeth, we are designed to eat meat. What about up north, the inuits only have meat to eat, it would be impossible have a diet of vegetables and fruit. I am talking before grocery stores. Hunting and Fishing are the best way to ensure that you are eating quality meat because god knows what they are selling you in the grocery store besides unnatural hormones and antibiotics. Plus, at least the animals that you hunt had a decent life
