I have an old worn-down one given to me by my mom that I use to make smoothies. It's an energy-saving solution for a yummy breakfast! Plus, as a cyclist I mostly focus on leg strength, so this helps keeps my arms in shape (sort of) :) The one I have now dulling and cracked in some places, so a new one would be awesome.

I've thought the same thing about Kombucha bottles! Good to know I can make use of the Strawberry Serenity sitting in my fridge after I'm done now...

yikes!!! I know if I'm living in a studio it's because I certainly can't afford an $1800 sleeper couch... I wish things designed for studios would be designed affordably.

Ha! I've seen that studio on the Milwaukee Craigslist. I want it soooo bad but it's out of my price range! Good luck!

It doesn't look all that small to me.

I think these pictures plus the ones from her initial entry post give more than enough detail of the interior of the apartment (which is a mere studio so there probably isn't much to see that we haven't already). Personally I think this is a wonderful use of the space you have (the lounge area is absurdly gorgeous, too bad it's Chicago and can only be utilised every so often!) and it is very classy décor. The only thing I dislike is all the picture frames in the bathroom; they seem sort of an afterthought and are just clutter.
I've noticed that a lot of the entries that don't adhere to the minimalist streamlined ideals that are so popular seem to get poo-poo'd a lot. What a shame that people can't see past their own biases. Great design doesn't follow only one genre...
Anyway, digressions aside, your first post was rather bland and disappointing but I'm glad you made it to the finals so we could see the rest. I really like it.

Egh sponges are filthy creatures that bacteria thrive on. I use washcloths for my dishes.

I LOVE Lisette's, though I'm mildly disappointed with the rest that got chosen as the finalists.

I love the color scheme in your place, the subdued hues are very tasteful. But the kitchen, oh goodness... I really think it ruins the aura of everything else. The cabinets are just too much. It's like "oh this apartment is so serene OH GOD COLOR OVERLOAD."

thanks for the shoutout!

SeanG, I think you should go with a darker color to offset the light bricks. Maybe a slate/charcoal grey? It looks like the dividing line between the bricks and the wall is right at eye level when sitting so that sort of contrast would be interesting.

I absolutely adore this combo to be honest. It's fresh and universal. I especially love the Pottery Barn bedding.
I could never take my wardrobe and make it into a color scheme for my apartment; I'd get so bored with greys, blacks and reds. I love muted colors with my pale pale skintone but my surroundings must be bright!

I love that the paint number is 666 but so beautiful and calm haha! I like your apartment very much; I see a lot of great ideas I want to implement in my apartment in terms of color!
