malcatraz, with all due respect, it doesn't sound like you're a parent. I don't think it's possible to completely educate a kid in world history and establish their bond with mother nature before exposing him to technology. You're talking about a whole life's worth of education. Computers are a part of the fabric of our life. A kid who understands how to use them will excel.

Personally, we are home birthing, locovore shopping, baby wearing, hiking, car-free, television-free, urban hippies who intend to let our child get to know the world organically- technology included. The iPad? Baby's first computer! So easy! So colorful! So fun!!

I am making all of the above recipes for a dinner party tonight, with a few adjustments. We made the meatballs last night and they are super tasty! I made extra to put into a freezer bag and have meatballs for miles! So exciting.
