They might be more useful if they were in a rectangle shape so you could maximise your freezer space. I used (and still do) Qubies when I was making mush for my baby. They are so easy to fill and super easy to clean. They seal perfectly too. Not Just for Babies! Beaba Multiportion Freezer Trays |

I use a great little book/journal called 'My Quotable Kid'. I have one for each of my kids. I have given a few as gifts too. I like the memory box idea though. Make A Memory Box To Remember Special Moments Tatertots and Jello |

We sprinkle pepper under our front deck as the neighbour's cat likes to use it as a litter box. It works well, but you do have to keep reapplying it. Use Mulch and Straw to Keep Cats and Critters at Bay |

Charlie and Lola, Hairy Maclary, Bad Jelly the Witch by Spike Milligan, Disney stories (Lady and the Tramp, Jungle Book, Lion King and all the usual princess suspects), Julia Donaldson's collection (Gruffalo, Monkey Puzzle, The Snail and The Whale, Room on the Broom etc), Tales from Acorn Wood, some princess stories from around the world and a few non fiction ones about penguins, tigers and pandas are all on my 5 year old's iPod. Having them on an iPod is great as she can scroll through and see the covers and can find exactly which story or song she wants. It has a little speaker attached to the bottom so she can take it with her in the pram/car/around the house. Her little sister (just over 2 years old) regularly uses it too, with help and has her favourites already. My Son's Top Ten Most Requested Audio Books |

I had several hamsters when I was younger and each one of them would bite occasionally. The one I had as a teenager would come with me just about everywhere. He was very friendly, but would still sink his teeth deep into my skin when he so desired. Circus-Themed Hamster Cage |

We got a set for my daughter for Christmas and it has proved very useful and lots of fun. Apart from pulling her toys around in the wheely box, she also likes to attach it to her ride-on quickly creating a little trailer. Rolobox Turns Empty Boxes into Pull Toys |

Along with some other yummy things, one stand out were the peaches drizzled in honey and baked for half an hour, then sprinkled with a roasted almond praline (which you could make in advance), topped with a mix of mascarpone, cream and vanilla.
