Thank you for conjuring up so many warm memories. What a beautiful album.

From what I understand, the whiskey and pickle juice thing has been passed around as a hipster fad within the past few years. I've only seen and heard of it (I work in a bar) as a whiskey shot with a pickle juice back, never as a mixed drink. It seems as though it's losing popularity, though.

Yeah, kind of a waste of everyone's time.

Bah. I'm not the first to crush on this guy.

I could have written this post--I've been housesitting for the past few weeks and living the suburban dream. A huge yard! A garden full of fruits, veggies, and herbs! An enormous deck and grill! Televisions--yes, multiple ones! I stopped by my little city apartment a few days ago to pick up fresh clothes and felt so cramped.

Thank you! I never knew how to do this, and I'm much less intimidated now.

Ha! This post hits a note in me--I was always teased about my homemade bread and jam and natural peanut butter, sprinkled with flax seeds. And my crinkled, reused paper bags with oily stains on them. I recall begging my mom for SunnyD (she never gave in, which I now respect!).

Yup, I have all of these plants in my house. I guess I'm retro.
