I want a blue velvet sofa so very badly! Or that rich fuchsia, that's amazing, also. It's just so glam and luxurious, but you can do so much with it in any given space. dress it up or down.. go all out glam or surround it in neutrals.. sigh, one day we will both have our dream sofas!

This sounds de-lish!
I know when you say 'we' you mean the AT team, but I always picture you guys standing around in a big kitchen, whipping stuff up and trading off ideas. It's nice.

I have a dark green/brown in my bedroom. Make sure you seal it, even though they say it already is, it needs to be again. Be careful with you're stains, however; my dad sealed his in his kitchen and it tinted yellow, which completely changed it and he hates.
It's also soft, so anything with a little weight is going to leave an impression. We had to put boards underneath our bed post. Also, be advised that whichever color you choose, it's only that color on the top layer. If something scraps it, then the cork itself will be exposed, and man does it stick out. I've seen the corrective coloring sticks (I think they're like a Sharpie), but I haven't tried them yet.
Make sure you wipe up excess moisture (it will damage over time), and only clean will a damp mop or very mild soap. If you take care of it and sweep/wet swifter often, it will last and it is great. although one of my friends mistook mine for subflooring....
I got mine on iFloor. Excellent customer service, and I door love my cork.

This is very interesting; I always loved the design, ever tho I don't really eat them. I always esp loved the little antenna on top of the logo, like a little tv set!

this sounds amazing, but what's a good sub for the oats? I'm GF and even Bob's Red Mill seems to irritate my stomach, which isn't fun bc they are so so yum. Would quinoa work? I've never had it, so I don't know what it's consistancy or flavor's like.

Exactly, Fox. Also, I made this great cran-apple crunch recipe from Celiac Chicks that called for GF oats and it still made me so sick, I couldn't eat it; the BF had to finish it off. It was sooo good, too! so i'm always looking for alternatives in almond flour or nuts to oats :(

This is so great! i've been trying to decide on blinds or roman shades or ?? Thanks for posting this, it's perfect! It gets pretty warm in my southern lvrm. I have a 1 1/2 story, and the a/c just does not circulate well; fans help, but if we can take the temp down a little more for cheap AND get the bill down, I'm in!

No that's pretty much what leopard print looks like...I work for a lingerie brand and we're always rotating it in one form or another. I think it can be classy and fierce. I like! Mark you're always so inspirational and willing to explore, I say bravo.

Very timely, indeed, I'm always experimenting with ways to fall and stay asleep. I've tried a few different otc sleep aids..sometimes they just knock me out and when i wake it doesn't even feel like i've slept that long, sometimes it doesn't even work.
The BF doesn't like me using these; exercise works for him, but even when I do it regularly, I still have trouble.
thanks for these tips, Maxwell, will def put into practice!

Fantastic! I'm so adapting this for a GF version. When I bought my house I was so looking fwd to baking and being all cutesy in the apron...and then the Celiac hit and I was majorly bummed. Posts like this really inspire.
@Charlotte, there's a Christmas tree and wreath still hanging in the pics, so fairly recent.

O yea, the wall is awesome. And that chair is so glam. I'd lounge across it wrapped in faux fur drinking a martini with obcsenely large jewels on my fingers, a la Edie Sedgwick. I don't even like martinis.
