I wanted to know more, so I did Google translate on names of these paintings. “No te lleves mi alma” translates as "Do not take my soul," and “Lluvia de besos” translates as "Rain kisses."

Totally won my heart!

This is going to be a beautiful kitchen! I love that you are mixing old and new, textures, etc. Color-wise, what you've chosen so far is beautifully neutral, which will give you the freedom to do anything you want with accessories. You may want to add a kilim rug for either floor or hand on the wall, the use those colors for accessories and possibly paint colors. Here's one that I think would add to your eclectic esthetic: http://www.potterybarn.com/products/623165/?catalogId=84&sku=623165&bnrid=3318529&cm_ven=Google_PLA&cm_cat=Rugs_&_Windows&cm_pla=Outdoor_Rugs_&_Door_Mats&cm_ite=Gianna_Kilim_Recycled_Yarn_Outdoor_Rug%2C_2_x_3'&srccode=cii_17588969&cpncode=33-295576708-2

Wall Color Ideas for Kitchen Renovation? Good Questions

Congratulations on your new home! In living room, from entrance hall, you may not have enough room to walk between end table and media cabinet. Lose the end table and use coffee table instead. Move media cabinet over to the right, and use smaller round table with four chairs in dining room. Buy six dining chairs, but store two in laundry room. In kitchen, try an small island with storage and stools instead of table and chairs. In bedroom, move head of bed under window so you can see down hallway from bed for more visual space. In office, move desk and chair under window to you can look out of window, and center couch along wall. Keep us posted!

Awesome! You may want to integrate the look with an existing element. For example, concrete, wood paneling, etc. You could even somehow incorporate the red from your chairs, or blue from water in pool. I agree that glass mosaic tile might be too busy, plus it would introduce yet another surface texture, when you've already got several going on here. Keep us posted.

Please don't paint this. This is a "bas relief," and painting it will destroy the sculptural integrity. You may want to use two slightly different stains: natural stain for carved center, and slightly darker for frame and legs. But before you make any decision on stain, experiment with stains by turning it over and using unseen underneath area for your testing purposes. Also, slightly sanding and using a wood conditioner before staining may help condition of wood, but again, experiment first. This piece is real find! My vote is for kitten paw peaking out in third photo.
