Is the expedit secured to the wall in some way? I wanted to use our expedit as a room divider, but it didn't seem safe for kids or a possible earthquake.

I have the first one. Unfortunately the birds do not actually use it. Water tends to collect in the bottom tray when it rains (and I'm in Seattle). Then the seeds get all mildewy. Too bad, it looks so pretty outside our window! Luckily, I did not pay full price for it- got it at a rummage sale for I think $10!

Seattle has a similar program for multi-family housing. They reimburse 85% of the cost to replace fixtures. Our condominium participated and it's a great thing to take advantage of. Here's the link:

We have a framed record album cover. It's the famous Herb Alpert cover where the girl is covered in shaving cream. Seems appropriate for the bathroom.

1. Erica

2. I would like 3 packs of the bamboo (2 tan and 1 kiwi)

3. We moved into a condo conversion 9 months ago and I'm pretty happy with what we've done with the bedroom so far (chocolate paint, marimekko wall hanging, and we finally have matching nightstands!) However, the closet doors (we have a whole wall of them) are awful and cheap looking. It's not in our budget to replace them (there are a total of 5 sets in the condo), and I've been wondering what to do about them. I think these blik decals will be a fantastic way to spruce them up without replacing them.

I love the book Clean House, Clean Planet, by Karen Logan. I don't buy any cleaning products anymore- everything you need is in this book! My favorite "recipes" are the All-Purpose Household Cleaner and the Earth Scrub tile cleaner. Also, Dr. Bronner's is the most amazing stuff!
