A matryoshka doll of Eric Chavez (MLB player formerly of the Oakland A's), wearing a knitted cape. The doll was given to fans at an A's game my sister attended years ago. The cape is also from her -- the first item she completed when she learned to knit. It was intended to be a mouse cape, as I worked in a research lab with mice at the time, but now Chavez wears it.

To everyone who felt the need to comment on the amount of trash other individuals or families are producing: get off Apartment Therapy and invest your spare time assisting groups that push for limitations on, and enforcement of, corporate waste practices. The pollution that any one person or family produces is vanishingly small compared to what often goes unregulated at large companies. If you truly care about pollution, then help to do something about that. Otherwise, your critical comments seem petty, at best.
