oh man, when i was a kid i loved this sort of stuff. i was pretty particular, when i was creating an environment, like a fairy house, i wouldnt use man made materials. it didnt feel authentic to me, even at a young age lol it also would have really bothered me, if the fairy house, was just a door stuck to a tree trunk or something. there needed to be at least one room i could get into, a fairy front yard doesn't cut it lol

They should have painted that box a brick color, like what Young House Love did to their boxes. Then maybe add some bushes in front to sort of cover the box, and to hide the space under the porch.

I was expecting to see Practical Magic on this list!! That house, the whole setting really, is so gorgeous. I first saw that movie when I was probably 7 or so, I fell in LOVE with that house, it just makes me so sad that I will probably never live in a place as beautiful as that.

ugh no. i think its gross to let your pets sleep with you every night, at least under the covers anyway. they stink,get hair everywhere, take up room,move around during the night, track in dirt and yes germs/bugs as well. i can understand if you let your indoor pet sleep on top of your covers at the end of the bed, but thats where i would draw the line. i get pretty pissed if i get awoken during sleep so i close the door lol

what about the poor kid(s) who have to be bored all day while the grownups have fun? unless you have a sibling or other kids your age around, its not very fun to tag along on these adult parties. i say, higher a baby sitter/let the kid stay at a friends house, and everyone will be happy.

i normally LOVE houses that look like this. but this just doesnt look good in my opinion.for me, the way it was before was timeless, stable, homey. and the way it looks after is trendy,unfinished,awkward. if the owners love it then im totally happy for them, but it makes me sad for the original house lol

I like it. One time when I was about 11, I asked a boy why there arent any black houses, and he said to me, "I'll paint my house black so someday if you see it, you'll know it's me". it was cute lol

all this reminded me of when i was in 6th grade, i had a teacher Mr. EVIL ..(Levi), he was a creep and everyone knew he was a creep, and i told my mom i got weird vibes from him, but no one said anything about it. he liked to take pictures of us for the "school year book", i guess the bathroom wasnt a good place for school photos to be taken, and luckily he was arrested. kids got into trouble if they spoke about him the next year. i hate schools. so from that experience, id say i would want my kid to tell me if someone was taking pictures of them, and id want to see a consent form.

why dont you just make shrimp? cant he make his own dinner once in a while?
