Texas Pete is my all-purpose hot sauce. I have a bottle of red Tabasco for when I am in the mood, but now I am kinda craving the green sauce. I use Sriracha on anything asian, and hot dogs. I'm sad to say I haven't experimented much out of those 4. I just really love the flavor of Texas Pete. I live in North Carolina, the even have Texas Pete in middle school lunch rooms. I have a little too much fun when getting the last bits of juice out of citrus. I cut them in half, squeeze, stick my fingers inside, squeeze again, and then invert the little sucker, squeeze once more. Daniel24, there are commercial soft drinks that are sweetened with cane sugar. I'd imagine that they used those figures, for the sucrose solution. I hope this is the start for more research on HFCS. It really needs to be completely understood before we put it into our bodies. Sadly, it wasn't. I've never really thought about it. I guess I've glanced at peoples carts, but I've never committed the contents to memory. I used to be a cashier at a small town grocery store, so the contents of peoples carts isn't really exciting to me. I am about to go to Whole Foods; I wonder what people will think of vegetable stock, parmigiano-reggiano, and grade B maple syrup.
