I remember crying on my way home from work one evening and pulling into a parking lot to regroup and fix my face. I could see another woman doing the exact same thing only a few spots away.

I have been using an antique dresser from the 1940's as storage in my living room for about 6 years. It was an absolute necessity living in a farm house that was over 100 years old. We have since moved (to a home with closets) and I am still utilizing the dresser as storage in our living room. It is perfect for storing table linens, serving utensils, DVDs, etc.

Great job on the bed! I won't mention to my husband how good a handmade bed can look. We were desperate and bought one. Before our youngest hit the 2-year mark he started climbing out of his crib. Due to space issues we bought a toddler bed. If they work...more power to you. And do I spy a BranchHandmade pillowcase? We have the ship pillowcase on our toddler bed.

What a beautiful home! No big budgets necessary. A little paint and some vintage furniture goes a long way in a wonderful old farm house. Kudos!

Perfect timing! After reading the original post regarding the bumper, I decided to get creative and turn our old bumper into a cot cuddler for school. Apparently, I am not that creative.

When my not-quite-two-year old learned how to climb in and out of his crib, we decided it was time for a new bed. The decision between the twin bed and toddler bed was difficult. We finally decided on a very inexpensive toddler bed which also doubles as a chair!

The P'kolino bed has been fantastic for us. It is low to the ground which was a must for the child that constantly falls out of bed. A mattress on the floor just wouldn't work with a 100lb dog waiting for the right moment to claim it as his own. And we can FINALLY use the comforter that came with the Dwell bedding set purchased for our first child. And did I mention that it turns into a chair?
