My apologies, I meant to say that the crib and crib mattress, not changing table were not included. The crib, from Walmart (http://www.younghouselove.com/2010/02/nursery-progress-crib-notes/) retails at $299.99 - a great budget purchase for sure. However, the mattress - which is organic - retails at about $375. So we're looking at a grand total of approx. $1,400.00. Again, I stand by my claim that this is hardly a budget nursery. Have to agree with the previous comments about a $700 nursery NOT being budget-minded. Love John and Sherry's design, but also didn't think it was fair to not include the cost of the crib and changing table in the grand total. Although they were gifts and the money didn't come out of their own pockets - it still should be added to the total cost of the room, which by the way would most likely bump the grand total to close to $2,000.00!!!
