I agree funkia, the florist i go to always says to NOT put leaves in the bowl and even take them off the stems if they end up submerged because the bacteria gathers and spreads in the bowl, so your flowers won't last NEARLY as long.

I agree with clairecat and jeffnyc. I reallllyyyy liked the one bathroom with the black and white wallpaper and the yellow flowers and i love the upholstery on the patio...but that;s it.

The vase of feathers to the right of the TV makes me angry.

@ pinko and madampince:
Drill holes in your wood. Here, it looks like Paola drilled 2 holes about 1/2 to 1 apart, spaced out along the length of her plank about two feet apart, about a 1/2 in from the end.

Drill corresponding holes on your second piece.

FIt your pieces together and "sew" them. This piece was meant to be a temporary option so her "thread" may have been as simple as strong cording.

I agree..the sofa looks strange and awkward.

I dont see the importance of having the authentics at all. If you like the look, and it's availible cheaper, why not? Why spend absurds amount of money on something you KNOW can be sold for less and made for FRACTIONS of the price.

I dont understand why someone would pay thousands of dollars for something. I find it kinda...insulting (?)... that some brands or names think they are worth so much money to the public.

I use scoopable kitty litter too...But regardless if the lable says flushable or not...if I flush it, it clogs the toilet...constantly. So we empty the catbox at night using a plastic bag and walk down the hall to the garbage shoot so nothing smells.

I like the Pottery Barn one the most.

Actually I take it back, I just noticed the wheels as per gryt's comment..they are ugly.

Regardless, I'd never pay $200 for a filing cabinets...unless they were really fancy gold ones....even then....

I'm no where near NY..but in Toronto my park is Allen Gardens. It's run year long by volunteers and there are 5 green houses in the middle also run by volunteers. They're gorgeous:

My bf USE to have pretty bad allergies (cats and pollen) and he actually use to have asthma too, but you know you can grow out of allergies? He'll get like 2 weeks of allergies in the beginning of summer now, but that's it.

I had reaaaallly bad allergies for like 3 or 4 summers in a row (pollen) and I hardly get them anymore. I never had allergies before that either.

Anyway, we have 2 cats now, big and FLUFFY and it hasnt bothered the boyfriend since we moved in together (3.5 years ago). I wonder if it's because your body can eventually adapt over time and with more exposure. I always thought it was wierd how allergies can suddenly come and go.

It'd be great if that happened in your case, then youd get to keep your cat buddy.

I don't mean at all that posting criticism is disrespectful, it's how people criticize. Some readers post their comments that just sound plain mean. Would you speak to someone the same way some people write here? I wouldn't.

Just must suck for the poster. That's all. Honestly, am I the only one who thinks this?

Thanks TallulahBelle but like your issue was with the wording of Gregory's post, mine was (and is) with how comments are worded. They are not posted as feedback or constructive criticism, people are just more then often very catty, excessively rude and mean in their comments, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks this on AT. I'm sorry if that wasn't made clear enough, I thought it was.

Also j i, I definitely agree Gregory handled it with grace. And my main issue is with how people word their "constructive criticism" such as you have. (Please feel free to refer to the definition of pompous). If you fail to see my point please also refer to your comment which chooses to mock spelling errors and disparage other comments.

Thank you and have a nice day :)

My bf's gramma is oldschool, and she never cleans wood floors with anything other then vinegar (she's so pro-vinegar it scares me). And their cat is a male, not neuteured, so he pees ALOT to mark his scent (really annoying, we can't leave our shoes on the floor when we go over or else they're soaked with pee)...but suprisingly the house really doesn't smell. Maybe that will help.
