Thanks for the tip on freecycle.org, Amelia! For selling your clothes, I've recently discovered thredUP (www.thredup.com) and Twice (www.liketwice.com). They'll mail you a free, postage-paid bag for you to send in good condition clothing you don't wear anymore. After taking a look at your items, they'll send you an offer for the pieces they'd like to buy for their online consignment shops. If you don't like the offer, you can pay a minimal fee to have your items shipped back to you. If you accept the offer but they don't buy all your clothes, those leftover items are donated to charities. As someone who lives in a city without access to a car, this is a great option for selling clothes (without the individual hassle of selling each piece on eBay) and donating the rest.
