What S.J.P. said. Why every thread at AT has to get tainted by some internet troll diva out there is really annoying.

This house is lovely.

On the other hand, giving cutlery for a breakup gift is a loaded one.

Maybe some of you should just call their house and ask if Piper likes it herself. Maybe then you'll ....naah, I doubt it.

So based on this growing list, anything anyone does will have someone that will bitch about it. First world problems. SMH

On the same page as Charlie26's comment ....if artist Mark Ryden were to decorate a child's room, it might look like this.

I love this. There's a noirish mood here that strikes me as sort of Blade-Runnerish, but not to the dark, depressing, noirish extremes in that movie. Just some of the details, esp. the grating across the windows, the blinds, the concrete, the leather couch. Being in Hong Kong probably adds to that, too!

Dina, everything is lovely, and there is absolutely no reason for you to have to explain yourself to the usual rogue gallery of AT drama queens and sticks-in-the-mud. I'd seriously want to see what their homes look like if they're so high and mighty. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home and sharing.

It's strange when you're a houseguest and you have to apply the 5-minute clean-up to the bathroom you'll be using, before you can use it. In fact, it can get downright scary. I love staying at friends' that are clean. Then there are those friends that have a Petri Dish for a bathroom.

I love the caged pendant light. I always thought it would be cool to have a kitchen that resembled a lab from the Miskatonic University. Fhtagn!

Neighbors are a tricky thing to deal with on things like this. Chicken droppings attract flies, and some people don't much care for roosters crowing. The benefits of having a chicken, though.... they're just funny, you get free eggs, and depending on if they imprinted on you at hatching, they can be quite "affectionate" (as far as a chicken goes, anyway). We had one that would jump up on our lap. She also roosted in our lemon tree at night, but attracting predators, including raccoons and possums is a constant issue. More than once we had to come outside at night to rescue her.

Here's a lovely concept: When people bitch about something, maybe they could also offer a solution about what they'd do instead. 8^)

Everything is gorgeous, and scrolling through the pics real quick, I thought to myself..."Mulholland Drive"? And there it is, in your description. What a fantastic achievement, getting into the beautiful location used for that movie! Congratulations on that!

oh...people airing their weird issues online in comment sections is just bad form.
