Awesome! I really like how it wraps around to the other walls so it isn't just floating there on it's own. Wonderful job!

Beautiful product! I love the gray tone. So very on trend, which means this will probably sell well as well as be eco-friendly.

I like the idea of para cord!

It's a cool material and comes in sooooo many colors. The chairs could get a refreshing with paint or left as-is and be wrapped with a coordinating or contrasting color.

Reds, oranges and yellows really pop on lawns. And you could do just about any color if they were on a deck/patio.

I'm with Parnassus! Float the sofa to change the space.

I really think you can buy a new cover for the Karlstad to put money toward the awesome built in. You will want your money to go toward the custom piece.

You may also go with a 47" TV which will be bigger, but also get the highest resolution you can afford so you get the best of both worlds.

Please take after photos!

Lovely! Very close to my own aesthetic - except that I would trade some of the clean midcentury lines for a chippy older piece. But I could easily live in this home & happily!

Halfzwaar is right to point out installing a real solid brick wall without considering the load on your house is crazy.

That said: this is beautiful! I have been searching for a good veneer company for an exterior project & this may be the one!

I thought I was addicted to duvets with three for two beds.

But 12! Envy!

Now I have an excuse to DIY at least another one. I have a good set for spring... But summer? I'm loving the fringe and lace. Feeling inspired

Oh no! First world problem on a design website?!? Say it ain't so!

I think the idea for a basket to hide the stuff is good. A hanging rail could also work, and then could be slid out of the way quickly. What ever you do you need access to both the plumbing and electric easily. So don't screw anything to the wall that will be difficult to move if you need to shut off the water!

Could a potted plant live there? If it was on a tray the tray would hide the wires while the pot & plant would distract from the pipes.

A tall, narrow mirror or piece of art could be leaned there.

A beautiful antique radio would add dimension, depth and tunes while you do your laundry.

Good luck!

Paint that nook a dreamy dark blue or steely gray. Shop your home for lighting to give yourself an idea of what you need (per task. Is it for reading? Writing? Romance?)

Move the expedite forward to create a fourth wall and make it a "secret room" then you can use both the front and the back of the piece for storage.

Next, a chaise lounger (ikea has some good options which are wide enough for two to cozy up reclining.) or if you're looking for bonus guest space a futon. I could even see a fun Moroccan space full of pillows with a futon mattress on the floor.

Radio? Bar cart? Incense burners? Candles? How do you like to relax?
