Another vote for this becoming a series. I live in Cambridge and lived in Somerville the last three years, and I agree with the amounts listed. I also agree that while Cambridge, Somerville, and Brookline are not technically Boston by zip code or name, I always tell people I live in Boston if they're not from this area. I think the many misnomers regarding place is of the quirkier aspects of Boston, but I like it.

Don't like the renting costs though, noooo sir . . .

I've been meaning to make a chocolate layer cake with cherry jam in between the layers with a scotch and vanilla bean whipped cream icing. This is a great starting point!

This is such a great series. I'm trying to learn more about wine and how to describe what I look, so this is very helpful.

I agree with SammyBey, Pretty Things makes many delicious beers. I've not had Baby Tree yet but I adore Field Mouse's Farewell and American Darling.

Definitely try one of their brews if you come across it!

I made a hot chocolate mix for my man since we shared a really delicious Mexican hot chocolate just a few nights ago.

Ooh, #6 is something I've noticed makes a big difference to me in how satisfied I am with my food. If I'm not too distracted and appreciate what I have before me, I tend to eat less because all of those bites are more satisfying and noticed. I like all the suggestions though and use many of them daily.

Harpoon Brewery out of Boston has a very dry, crisp cider that's unlike many other brands I've had. It's much more like a wine, and only barely sweet.

Something that I've been eating for breakfast that I think would also serve as a nice dessert is pomegranate seeds over plain yogurt with a swirl of honey on top. Very light, very tasty.
