A painful transition, to be sure, but major electrical appliances like ovens and refrigerators have been regulated like this since the 1970s. If anything this should have been done sooner, to avoid the backlash by a firmly entrenched industry. I think passing this kind of (good and necessary) regulation would have been a lot easier before the flat screen became so ubiquitous. Hot or Not? I'd be careful with these dog collars. Fabric collars of all kinds may break at just the wrong moment, like when something extra enticing is moving across the street; those moments when your dog will pull extra hard are the same moments you need to be certain the collar will hold.
