Thank you Faith and Cothar for responding to Sunnyteigh and beyourownsavior.

@ Sunny and Beyourownsavior - I only would like to reiterate what Faith and Cothar said about Open Ended Questions. They just provoke conversation and interesting comments. It's fun to talk about. If you don't like the questions don't read them and make rude comments that ruin it for everyone else. Simple as that.

Except for ephraim_oakes it is highly disappointing to see your responses. As a vegetarian, I still do believe that people are met to be omnivores.

It is not your choice to stop being a vegetarian but to eat inhumanely treated meat such as fast food burgers, etc. I would think you all had your various reasons to be veg, how can you go back so quickly without even thinking about where your food is coming from.

Now I am a vegetarian, but I do believe people are built to be omnivores. However, I also believe people should be eating humanely treated meat. When browsing for your ribs at places such as the sketchy grocery store down the street, you would obviously be getting some sketchy meat right along with it. With all the other great things you put up on this website, such as promoting CSAs etc etc, I would think you would also make sure your meat was coming from a place where the cows and other animals were treated right. What a disappointment.

O wow - I was out and about one day during a rain storm and returned to find I had left my bedroom window open...with my laptop sitting on the desk under it! So there sat my computer in a puddle of water - my first thought, pick it up out of the puddle...bad idea! As it was still plugged into the wall, upon touching the computer I was shocked and was promptly sent flying backwards as a result....Fried the mother board and had to get a new one...moral of the story - close your windows!

I work for a Columbus magazine and Jeni totally blew us off for a scheduled interview - if you want awesome ice cream, great service and something thats not getting to "corporate" go to Denise's Ice Cream in Clintonville on High Street.

The menu of more than 60 flavors boasts the traditional as well as the experimental. A guy named Stan Zafron owns it - he's a little off the chart but the nicest guy you will ever meet.

If you have trouble choosing a flavor Stan and company are known for feeding patrons sample upon sample, part of Stan’s philosophy of allowing the ice creams to shape customer’s perception of the store. “I don’t have any neon signs. I don’t have a cartoon or other icon to promote my store,” he says. “I allow the product to create the image, and I like that.”

Personal opinion - 100x better than Jenni's

I agree with hazlenut - "It seems a little counterproductive to perpetuate the brutality you're supposedly protesting."

While people do need reality checks, this was definitly NOT the way to do this. What do you think they did with all those babies they killed.

That was terrible. I AM a vegatraian. I don't care if you eat meat, but at least know where your meat is coming from, and be sure it is humanely treated - free range, non-hormone, etc.
