I think it largely depends on your definition of "healthy". Healthy could mean low calorie, or in the case of organic foods, it could mean unprocessed, real foods. So yes you could say organic cookies are healthier than say Oreos because there is no HFCS, refined ingredients, and other processed parts. However calorie-wise the Oreo and organic cookie are probably the same because a cookie is a cookie, even when healthier ingredients replace the bad ones. I was so excited when I saw this article! I'm from St. Louis and I grew up with provel cheese on pizzas and salads. Everyone in my family LOVES provel cheese; it was even a common item on our grocery list. Unfortunately once you leave the St. Louis area, the love for Provel cheese just doesn't exist. My husband knew someone from Boston who had tried an Imo's pizza and his friend replied "I wouldn't feed that s**t to my dogs." Haha, so Provel cheese is something people either love or hate; there doesn't seem to be too many people who are on the fence about it. A few other St. Louis local foods are toasted ravoli and gooey butter cake. Provel Cheese: A Taste Of Missouri | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I swear, The Kitchn, you can read minds. I was JUST searching online for wines under $10. The same thing happened before, for days I was craving spaghetti and meatballs but was unsure of a solid recipe, and then you post a Homemade Meatballs post. And this is why I love you :) Lots of Cheap Wines: At Less Than $10 Per Bottle! Budget Wines | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

I just recently purchased a grater (newly married, slowing stocking kitchen with necessary supplies) and I'm using it more than I thought. Peelers are different than graters but but I find grating can be faster and easier with certain foods. The other day I grated (after I peeled and cored) apples to make a cinnamon applesauce in my rice cooker. I do not own a hand mixer or blender and I knew I wouldn't be able to smooth the applesauce after finished in the cooker so I wanted to get the apples in the smallest parts possible. And it worked! The sauce is chunky of course but it's delicious. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | To Peel Or Not To Peel? |
