I made two separate trips to europe in the last 3 weeks and have fallen behind. Argh! seeing a pic from my style tray above reminded me that I am not working in a vacuum here. . . gulp.

Apartment Therapy - The Fall Cure: Week Five

First time curer here and so fearful that I would be the most slovenly I started cleaning the kitchen a few weeks ago. Before anyone else feels like I took an unfair advantage, I will tell you that it was so gross I couldn't even take a 'before' pic.

I also bought a good vacuum and learned that two of our rugs are a LOT redder once the dog hair is gone.

We live in Harlem in New York and have a somewhat large place by local standards, but two offices and a studio space (husband is an artist) account for most of it.

I have carte blanche to do the kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, my office, and boudoir (that's my aspirational name for my closet room). Carte blanche except for no throwing out the videogame systems, the big tv, etc. The usual compromise of living with a guy.
