This is a fantastic tip that I will be trying on my bamboo floors! I recently installed them as a DIY and they are beautiful...was told that bamboo was relatively hard and resistant to scratching...NOT so!

I had mark free floors, until I got a cat...now, there are cat scratch marks in the areas without area rugs. :(

Since I won't be getting rid of my kitty, I hope this tip will work on the scratches...I may be doing this for a long time!

How To Fix Dents in Wooden Floors & Furniture (With an Iron!)

Oh wow! This is exactly what I have been trying to design on paper for the useless space under my stairs as a DIY project. My space has so much potential for better use of this storage space, but I don't want the ugly small door that is currently there, as I have to crawl through it, to get to my stuff...a big hassle. ;(

Any chance you can provide tips or instructions on how perfectly you got the doors to meet up so evenly? I love how clean and simple the doors are and especially how they open up without having to crawl into a tight space to access items.

Thanks so much for sharing!

@LauraJane & Sherrybinnh I am going to start using your tips to place hangers in my laundry closet/area, so that I can immediately hang clothes right out of the dryer and into my closet; rather than fold, carry, then look for hangers and then hang. Great Tip! Thanks!

As for mail, I have a 30 Day box/file where no immediate action is necessary and once a month I purge by filing or trashing/shredding...if I have time, I will also go through it before the 30 days...allows me peace of mind that it won't get out of control.

I will miss the great videos and reading through everyone's comments...I'm kind of sad about that...Max please do this again, soon!!!

Day 20: Empty Outbox
The 20/20 Home Cure

I'm a DIY'er and still have more remodeling to go, so there are always house projects in process. Playing catch up today...so, after weeding through the books and donating to local library, I plan to replace a broken dimmer light switch, which I should be able to do in 20 minutes. :)

BTW, I am partial to using EZ-Ancors for most of my hanging projects...all depends on the weight of what you plan to hang. Here is a good source to determine the best anchor for your project.... (http://www.naturalhandyman.com/iip/inffastener/infanchor/infanchor.html)

I aim to weed out the unused books that are collecting dust and will only keep my absolutely favorite ones...especially since I now have an iPad to help maintain book clutter. I just called my local library and they will take all books for their book selling fundraisers...Great!

The REAL challenge will be all the house design & jewelry design magazines...many bring me inspiration and so hard to part with...

I'm behind, but today is my day off and I already started out my day right and bright...went to buy some fresh yellow sunflowers and each time I look at them they make me smile! This is surely a habit I plan to keep! So thankful for the 20/20 cure!!!

Paul,

Fantastic...Love your place!

Can you give me details about the mirrors on the doors? Did you have the mirrors installed? If so, are they glued and then just framed in? I like how they give more depth to a hallway filled with doors...I have a similar hall.

Cheers!

It's pretty much showers for me...not by choice! I use to relish soaking in a nice deep hot bath at the end of the day...soooooooooooo relaxing before going to bed~~~

Since I moved to my place, the small bath tub just doesn't cut it...I dream of a Japanese soaking tub. So, it's on the list of must haves for the future!!!
