If you are handy you could make one as mentioned earlier. I had an Ikea mdf frame fall apart after 2 years so I reused some of the hardware. Legs and slats. I used 2"x8"'s but I think it should have been 2"x10"'s or taller legs. Similar But Less Expensive Bed? Good Questions |

I made my bathroom vanity out of concrete. Highly recommend giving it a try. Fun and not too costly. I agree with the comments above. I don't think I could leave it as a patina. I'd have to try something. Apartment Therapy New York | Good Questions: Repairing a Concrete Countertop? |

I did the diy concrete counter top thing. It was a bit of hard work and you can't beat the price. Worst case you bust them up and use the for patio pavers. If I had to pick, I'd pick "Graphite Ridge". Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Help Danny Seo Pick a Color for His Countertop |

I'll start buy saying I've grown up in the cleaning business and have been cleaning carpets for 22 years (should have went to college). The saw dust method is known as "Host". It works... but... it also leaves some saw dust behind. If you pry the fibers apart you'll see it. That just doesn't feel clean to me. I could go on for a while... If you are going to pick a carpet cleaner try to find a family owned and also see how long they have been in business. Usually truck mounted "Steam cleaning" is the way to go if they can reach you. Portables tend to throw the water down and use a lot of chemical. I've seen a lot over the years.
