I do this with food I take for school now- wii you be able to snack? I usually take hard boiled eggs, a salad made of greens with beets, beans, and whatever other toppings I have prepared, with vinegar at the bottom of the container. When I eat I add olive oil and shake the container to mix the dressing. For more entree type food I recommend bringing whatever you consider a balanced meal (that's easy for you to digest), preheat it, and tho it may have cooled down I doubt it will spoil. I've never had an issue. Beef jerkey, yogurt, precut fruit are other things I bring. Don't forget utensils, napkins, and condiments, and good luck on your test!

It's not delivered, but I buy premade food from three stone hearth. It's incredibly expensive but delicious. I also shop at places like birite- gourmet deli food. Sometimes there isn't time to cook and it's easy to pick up a meal and ingredients for future meals.

Booze nostalgia! I remember thinking brandy was sophisticated as a kid because the adult men in my family would drink it while playing cards. in college it was tanqaray with cranberry juice and a squeeze of lime. Once I could drink at bars- plenty of White Russians (gag!) and chartreuse. I still like the more herbacious spirits!

I'm single and in grad school so I make almost all my food at home... Or if I get take out its a taco or burger or whole food salad bar items-- my balanced meals involve 3 eggs and a ton of greens, with salsa or sauerkraut or kimchee on top, big bowl of oats with seeds and coconut milk or congee if I make a pot that lasts for days. Lunch and dinner involve steamed or roasted veggies that I can have for a few meals with some meat, a salad. I put a fruit and veggie on greens for my salad, or if I'm in a rush I make miso and throw in any and all veggies and mushrooms I have sautéed, so it's easy to prepare. I'll bake yams three at a time, too. Tho I've been craving chili lately...
