I'm a homeowner and for the most part love it. I like being able to do whatever I want with my property, and financially speaking I think it's a great inflation hedge. I also like having a place where I make memories.

Great tour. I especially like the sofa and window treatments in the living room. The lamp in the living room is great as well. I might paint the storage piece in the living room black or upgrade to a higher quality wood. Nice bedroom also. Overall I think this apartment is great!

I swap out pillows throws, and a few accessories each season. During Spring I add tons of flowers. Some people think this is strange but it brings me happiness :-) Here is my latest spring setup http://bmorebungalow.blogspot.com/2014/04/appreciating-small-things.html

I liked the before actually. I think it only needed new flooring, and new undersink hardware.

I agree with all the points made. I live in a 1,400 sq ft bungalow. I have a baby on the way and several people have commented on how it's now time to move to a bigger place. I love my small space though. I can't imagine putting in the time and money it would take to maintain a larger property.

I'm in the process of designing a nursery. The budget for the project is super tight. It's hard to do but possible. I feel like going with a modern design makes it easier due to Ikea. Unfortunately I'm more of a traditional girl :-(

Totally agree with the touch of black in every room and at least one antique in every room, I abide by both. They add a level of sophistication and integrity to the design. This reminds I need to add a touch of black to my nursery :-)

I've never used Dr. Bonners but will definitely have to try it. I'm a huge proponent of making your own detergent. I save so much money by doing this. You can find the quick recipe I use here http://bmorebungalow.blogspot.com/2014/02/diy-how-to-make-quick-homemade-laundry.html

Nice space. I really like the transition in colors from the living room to the dining room. I never would've thought to put those colors together.
