Ommegang is lovely. Their Fleur de Houblon is also lovely. I'm glad there's one small brewer not making overly-hoppy stuff out there.

My go-to for wheat beers is always Allagash White. Just so tasty and perfect with an orange.

Bourbon still contains rye, just a smaller percentage than rye whiskey. Bourbon has to have 51% corn and the rest is usually wheat or rye.

I feel like The Kitchn/Apartment Therapy need to do an online etiquette post, considering how nasty the commenting here can become.

That said, I'm excited for this series and the tasty new cocktails I will discover through it.

I second the shepherd's pie recipe, I've actually made and frozen it. It thaws perfectly and still tastes great. I've also done, burritos, chili, and black bean soup.

I really want to know what's going on with the Tuna with Rice recipe. It's so bizarre.

The IKEA valentines episode of 30 rock is what I thought of, too! It's really funny but ends poignantly.

In winter I have flannel sheets so my topsheet ends up feeling like an extra set of PJs. I love it and wouldn't give it up.

The Boston molasses flood is one of my favorite stories. Apparently there are still buildings that are stained from the flood.

My office had a huge problem with breaking glasses, we would get a new set of them every few months and be down to one or two within a few weeks. Our office manager bought Mason Jars for some special client meeting and they ended up in the kitchen cabinet after. We still have every jar even a year later. They hold up to our office beatings like no other glasses we've ever had.

I'm still on the mason jar bandwagon. Of course, in my own home I have a bunch of mis-matching tumblers from the thrift store. I just like the aesthetic, but to each their own.

Fun fact: you aren't allowed to sit in the Barcelona chairs in the Barcelona pavilion.

(I just waited until the guards weren't looking and did it anyways)

I never knew press cookies were called Spritz! We makes those every year with my mom's ancient press. Simple to make and always fun for kids to decorate.
