If we are getting technical, it isn't in Ukrainian Village either. The south east corner of Damen and Chicago is typically considered East Village. That being said, there are conflicting opinions about the southern border of East Village, some say Chicago some say Grand. So, we could call it the more general and government defined West Town or dispense with the technicalities all together...

Steve, you could always head to Home Depot, buy a traditional roller blind and a three or four set of mounting brackets. Mount the brackets sets at various heights. When you want to adjust the blinds just move the roll assembly to another bracket set. It isn't an elegant solution and it might be annoying if you were adjusting them all the time, but you could get it done for less than $15.

Paige,

I've put the Lubi through the ringer over the last two months and here is the report...

My Lubi has seen everyday use as a couch, including frequent naps, and has seen 3 or 4 overnight guests.

The Cushion is firm and has, to this point, shown no signs of degrading. My guests have reported restful nights.

In my opinion, the Lubi would be a great solution for your needs, but I would be remiss if I failed to mention its one drawback. The covering is slightly elastic, but generally stretches less than the cushion gives. Eventually, the covering starts to look a little wavy because of the stress put on the fabric. Typically, I just smooth the "waves" with my hands, but after a year or of heavy use, I'd imagine the removable cover will have to be dry cleaned to restore its original shape.
