I think that the bedroom curtains are from Ikea! Or at least Ikea has some great priced ones that look awfully similar. Meg's Traditional Mix House Call |

We've got dark mahogany trim too, and painted our dining room a flat charcoal (Pratt & Lambert's Tobacco). It looks beautiful against the high gloss trim! Cozy, amazing at candlelight, and, in my opinion, more interesting than the generic sense of needing white trim with dark colors. My desire for a farmhouse table coupled with my lack of funds led me to buy a big (and with extra slats for extension) butcherblock dining table from Ikea. After a quick sanding and a couple of coats of mahogany stain and polyurethane, it's come to look like an old vintage piece. I've coupled it with white mid-century tulip chairs, and get tons of compliments. I know it's still Ikea at the end of the day...but with a little effort on your part, it'll end up looking unique and no one will know! Where Can I Find a Vintage Farmhouse Table? Nick...bitter much? If its materialism that you're so upset about then it escapes me why you're so angry with a company that makes design cheap and accessible to all, not just the wealthy portions of society. The founder of IKEA is incredibly rich as you can imagine, but the guy only ever flies economy. Apartment Therapy DC | Roundup: Top 10 Fall Finds at IKEA |

txbelle, I'm also very much questioning the $360 price tag of these. As a Bengali who has some of these blankets and who's bought them in Kolkata (and not in some sweatshop), I can tell you that they cost NOWHERE near this amount. And saying that they're made from "vintage" saris is really funny...they're made from torn or overly worn saris that are too bad a shape to wear. Not that this makes them any less beautiful...it's recycling at its best! Apartment Therapy Boston | Throw Blankets Made From Vintage Saris |
