When people hung Chinese scroll, PLEASE, please check which side is up. To look at Chinese characters upside down or side ways is hard to accept for people who understand the meaning of the character. Like ling said, turn it clockwise 90 degree, but it is 'si', means 'temple' and it is a Chinese character, although Japan adapted it. Apartment Therapy - Good Questions: What Does this Sculpture Mean? |
