I once did a tabletop with mod podge. It lasted a couple of years - even with wet and hot things being set on top of it occasionally. So, it ought to be moderately durable on a chair.

I love it. I've been haunting the thrift stores waiting to find a nice cabinet to paint bright yellow, just like this!

Some of those are really cool. Sleeping in #5 might be somewhat terrifying though.

I also love the idea of turning one into a filing cabinet - and that would be much more useful in my life. My family has an overabundance of trunks due to my aunt's inability to see one without purchasing it. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

At my flat in England, I didn't have a dryer and it was frequently so damp that hanging clothes outside was rarely an option. I didn't enjoy the stiff towels or socks either. When I moved to Amsterdam, I had a ventless condenser dryer. It was great! I highly recommend them.

I have an awful hand-me-down dining table and cheap ikea chairs. But, since I intend to move to the East Coast (I live on the West) next year, it seems impractical to buy something else I'll have to move. This way I can leave it behind and start fresh in a new place.
