In our old apartment, the guy below us parked like a jerk, often taking up two spaces with his ridiculous SUV. He also smoked something nasty that made the whole building stink, then would always burn incense that smelled even worse! He was also a ceiling banger, even if we were just sitting and eating dinner. Not sure what he was hearing.
Now that we have a house my only neighbor complaint is the neighbor that walks his dog solely so he doesn't have any poop in his own yard. He has a bag with him, but I have only seen him use it once when I stared him down. Just last night, around 9 pm, I walked over to his house and had a talk with his wife about the poop I just found after cleaning my whole yard up that day! The other neighbors hate him too...

My retro stove is one of the only sweet things that came with my apartment. Everything else is just kind of old or gross or broken. It took a little getting used to though. The oven runs 50 degrees hot which I found out after buying an oven thermometer (one of my best buys for baking ever!) and you have to be careful not to lean against the knobs or the gas turns on a little bit. I also had to figure out the broiler on the bottom in the drawer, I was used to it being on the main oven part up top. I love it now and don't want to think about when we move!
