I didn't mean to imply the app selection is superior, as I migrated away myself because of the dearth of options, but the ability to "try before you buy" is something I do miss when using both iOS and Android :) But to answer your question about Sunset: the magazine started back in 1898 "to combat the negative 'Wild West' stereotypes about California" (ha, we're still fighting the stereotype to this day); alongside their excellent magazine which now covers beyond out to the Southwest, they've published numerous garden and home books, many of their 50's and 60's editions are commonly found at yard sales, flea markets, vintage shops, and are highly collectible as noted by this fav quote: “Collect vintage Sunset Books. Sunset Magazine has always captured the optimism of California life. And these comprehensive books are essential reference tools for rustic modern living. I agree. It's one of the things I most like about the Windows Phone app system where almost every available app has a "try before you buy" option. With iOS and Android there's all too often a level of concern about whether an app is really worth purchase. That's a great point about DVR capability, as many of us are time-shifting out viewing habits. I've often wondered how many of our readers are really not watching live TV or even have cable subscriptions any longer...those who've ditched them tend to be vocal, while I suspect there's still a silent majority who still "tune in". The Jambox and Big Jambox are both amongst those I often recommend when portability is key, but they're not really in the same category for comparison with the Lounge due to the size, available volume output. The Lounge tends to be something you set up and leave, while most wireless speakers are specifically designed with portability in mind. And trust me, I'm already worrying about carefully repacking this speaker to return, due to it's length and our narrow doorways! I've been known to use and view my Twitter feed during special events (award shows), news reports, and sporting events. But I've yet to partake in live updating/reading via social media during actual shows like Mad Men or Game of Thrones...feels too much the equivalent of text messaging while at a movie theater. To be fair, the logo is pretty subtle in real life because it's debossed and facing away from a user.
