What makes your small kitchen so cool?


Our tiny kitchen is incredibly efficient and utilitarian but still feels airy and open.

One challenge you overcame in your small kitchen, or a good resource you've found.


To reduce clutter on our counters, my husband built a beautiful wooden shelf over our stove. It is the perfect size to hold all the stuff we use on a daily basis (i.e. - oil, salt, spices, etc.) and a great use of otherwise wasted space. We also saved a lot of money by painting a high-gloss backsplash (instead of tiling) behind the stove. The paint can easily be wiped clean of grease and grime.

Favorite Meal to Cook in Kitchen


Right now we are kind of obsessed with quesadillas and anything mexican.
