We tried to emulate a bit of French kitsch in our kitchen, using the black and white for dimension and the yellow to brighten the space.
One challenge you overcame in your small kitchen, or a good resource you've found.
The kitchen was dark and dated when we moved in. The first thing I decided to change was the flooring. I ripped out the old and put in the new black and white check all by myself! (I'm very proud of that.) It looks cool, clean, and gives the illusion that the less than 5'x5' floor is spacious.
Favorite Meal to Cook in Kitchen
We brew tea more than anything else, but mealwise, I would have to say curry. My husband is the chef, and when he gets the spice grinder going, the meal ends up smelling and tasting heavenly.
