What makes your small kitchen so cool?

Even though it's tiny, it's totally functional and enjoyable to use! When I remodeled, I made a lot of eco-friendly and healthy choices. I refaced the cabinets, installed ceramic tile floors, sourced the stove and dishwasher used off Craigslists, and installed the pendant lights - all myself and at 22 years old!

One challenge you overcame in your small kitchen, or a good resource you've found.

I used porcelain tile on the counters. It was relatively inexpensive, never has to be sealed, and resists stains and bacteria like nothing else. And it looks beautiful to boot! My counters were originally two-level, but I cut off the taller level to make a larger space that doubled as a bar. This was perfect because my apartment is too small for a dining table.

Favorite Meal to Cook in Kitchen

I love making "one pot wonders" loaded with fresh veggies.

We have matching kitchens! Unfortunately mine is the before....
I live in a rental and I constantly dream about what I would do if I owned it. Very nice job!

wow, it looks so much bigger! I guess it's the usable space on the counter-tops. Good Job! :)
