What I Love About My Home


I love how bright and sunny and cheerful it is. We get a lot of light and we overlook a beautiful courtyard. That, plus the mix of fun prints and accessories makes it a really happy space.

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


Because my boyfriend and I both work at home most of the time we both needed office spaces. It was definitely a challenge to create two comfortable work spaces in a one bedroom apartment without sacrificing comfortable living spaces, but I love how we ended up carving up the living room into work areas and a lounging area.

The blue in the bedroom is so pretty and calming. I like the decals.

I am just curious why you felt you had to seperate your boyfriend's workspace from yours. Why couldn't you both just work at a big table together rather than having to break up the continuity of the small apt with that book shelf between the two desks.?

I love an embarrassing number of your graphic black-and-white pieces. Can you tell me where you found the chair in the first shot, the pattern for the back of your white bookcase (shelf liner? gift wrap?), and the cushions for your dining room chairs? I especially love the way it plays off the pale blue walls.

sooooooooo similar to my place. I LOVE IT. I am definitely going to use decals (in my probably my living room). There is nothing in this world as refreshing as light blue and white!

I normally don't like a house with that much non-neutral color (blue) but this is very peaceful indeed! I LOVE the tree/bird wall!

The decals are from etsy- the one in the bedroom is from Wall Decors and the one in the living room is from Janey Mac

The paint in the bedroom is Ice Flower from Behr

The black and white chair is from Target, and the print in the back of the bookcase is wrapping paper from Target

I made the cushions in the kitchen- I believe the fabric is a Michael Miller print
