What I Love About My Home


There are a lot of storage places. I got 2 big closets in my room, and there is more in the passage. There is also 2 balcony where I can eat with my boyfriend, make bbq and plant some tomatoes.

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


At the beginning, I had just few furniture that I found for cheap and people gave me. With time, and because I like to look for used stuff on internet and in the street, I found really nice pieces that I couldn't live without!

I'm really starting to love the color gray. I love how you've accented it with bright happy colors. Love the kitchen. The curtains in there are awesome..great contrast to the yellow cabinets. Great job!

Number 8 here http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/kitchen/kitchen-cabinets-in-every-color-of-the-rainbow-143969 was my inspiration for the yellow kitchen cabinet and the trees on the wall.

Quelle maison sereine, splendide! J'aime gris et jaune, je le porte souvent dans mes vêtements. J'aimerais aller à la maison à un endroit aussi chaud et calme que celui-ci! Bon emploi! Nous les Canadiens savent vraiment comment décorer!!

Those yellow cabinets are definitely attention grabbing. I have no idea if I like them or not! Or if I could live with them. They are such a nice pop of colour, but if you aren't in the mood, might feel like they are all too much!

Yeay Montreal! I also live in Montreal in the Plateau. Where are the pendant lamps by the couch from? I'm looking into getting some nice pendant lamps that don't require wiring into the ceiling (as I'm a student and renting!).
