What I Love About My Home


The relative “spaciousness” of the home given its size and environmental footprint. I try to utilize furnishings that are practical and serve multiple functions, rather than purely decorative. I also love the roof deck, pocket garden and the hydrangeas in summer.

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


Rethinking my design strategy after getting a “sense” of the home. My aesthetic leans more towards contemporary with a bit of sparkle; however, this is a 1940’s bungalow that, despite some upgrades, is better suited with traditional furnishings. Also, being able to create multi-functional spaces without appearing so.

This house might be very nice, but i think the attempt at interesting vantage points for the photos have sort of obscured the house itself. This looks like a nice home, but i'm not really wowed from a design or decor perspective.

it may feel like a small space, but it doesn't look that way! nice living area, but i'd like to see photos from better angles.

I'm currently living in southern NH and what I wouldn't give to be living in Portsmouth--such a great place!

I lived in an apartment that was around 890 sq ft one time, and it definitely did NOT feel that spacious. Great job.

Yeah, there was another entry today that made me want to say "not my style but so appealing nonetheless." I looked closer and realized I really DIDN'T find it appealing - it's just that the photography was so good! Sort of unfair to those without a pro friend to take the pix!

I like the feel of your house a LOT. Casual, comfy, feels like a real house rather than an eye-popping but unrealistic showroom!
