850What I Love About My Home
I love the bed out in the open so that my boyfriend and I can have our own room/office.
Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home
Decorating for a rented space is always a challenge for me. I have to work with the space that I have and make sure I do not invest too much money into it.

A very cool, modern and open design! I would totally live there.

there is so much seating for a small space--very smart design.
Also love the branch "chandelier" and mix of natural woods juxtaposed with man-made elements. The plastic chairs and red lockers really pop!

If I had green and red as my principle choices in furniture colors, I'm afraid it would look a lot like Christmas. Not so with you. Lovely!

You win the prize for the most detailed floor plan :-) I love that you were able to separate out so many separate functions in a small space, would love to see more.
My fav shot is the one with the couch and the kitty parked right in the middle (so cat typical, got to be in the middle of everything).

love your green couch. i've been eying that little stool/table for some time but just don't need it in my space. love seeing it in yours!

You've inspired me. I've been toying with idea of putting my bed in the large living/dining area (I live alone) and making the master into an office/sleep space (on the nights when I snore too loudly) for my partner. I like one room living and already kind of do that now except on my futon.
Gorgeous space. love the green and red together.

I'm dying to see a picture of the misc. room and what you've done with it. I think that would help to demonstrate the logic behind placing the bed in the common space. Really interesting design concept.

I would want some sort of divider between the dining area and the "bedroom". Having people look at your bed while they're eating dinner seems wrong, somehow.

I would really like to know where you got your table. I'm looking for something like that.

oh girl the place is darling!! Its FFFAAAABBBBBBUUUULLLOOOUUUSSSS!! But you have to get rid of that damn cat though. Sol Rosenburg doesnt get along with cats, so its gonna have to go. Brett wier like thes place too... and so does Jack T-O-R-S. Frank Rizzo love cats and says it should stay...
Nice place over all..
love you guys! looks like a nice place. cant wait to get to see it

I love this. It looks "real", not overdone, or over-designed.

I want to live in there.

I wish you had shown the other rooms. Three of the shots are essentially the same thing taken at different distances. That being said, I think my favorite thing about your space is the play between the red chairs and the red credenza on the other side of the bed.
