What I Love About My Home


The color I chose makes my home feel special, they came out exactly as I imagined them and I like how the dark furniture contrasts with them and makes them pop out. Another colorful favorite is my big red fridge, I constructed the kitchen around it. Let's not forget the shower, it didn't fit in the picture but the shower tray is made of real little peebles. In fact, I love everything about my first home, it's my beautiful nest, it still needs some work (a few more pictures and other touches) but the most is done and I am very satisfied.

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


By far the biggest challenge I faced was completely reconstruct the flat after the previous owners had 'improved' it in the '80s (brown bathroom anyone?). I had to rethink the whole thing trying to fit into a relatively small space also a few pieces I loved from my parents' flat... leaving enough room to entertain friends!

I love red, yellow, the fridge, the doors, the bookshelves, the breakfast nook, the bathroom ( I like that sink!)... and... I love Italy!

I love the combination of the deep reds and yellows and that sort of seafoam blue/green throughout the flat. I don't think I've ever seen that combination before - so cheerful and striking!
