What I Love About My Home


I love my studio apartment because it gets great sunlight and fits all of my belongings, even though it's fairly small. I also love all the quirks of the older space, including the fact that the whole apartment is on a slant, which I think adds character...though I do have velcro on some of my drawers to keep them closed.

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


One of my biggest challenges in decorating my apartment was making sure I was able to entertain without having guests feel like they are sitting in my bedroom. Even though the 'bedroom' portion of my space is right next to the 'living room' I think it feels like two separate areas and has proved to be a great place for friends to gather.

It's cute!! I *love* your curtains. Do they offer enough privacy at night? I've been thinking of getting light cotton ones like that but we're on the first floor and I'm wondering if they're enough...

I understand why the shelving thing that holds your television is at an angle, but I don't see why the small shelving next to it, where your PC is, has an angle as well. Could you please clarify?

Even a place this size can cost mucho in NYC
It was lovely to look at,
but the best was how you made me laugh,
by needing to velcro your drawers shut!
That really is being creative!
Light is so important, plus no light means more lamps and more cost.
It has been a hard month here in Mad. Wisconsin, not to mention looks like my bike was ripped off, so I go to the site every day to chill and love something from every photo. Thanks again for the laugh
and seeing some one see the glass half full!

Yeah, Mello1 was unabashedly rude. However, I would suggest tightening up the wall of pictures so they are more cohesive and lowering the "juvenile" dog picture. Which personally I thought was more charming than juvenile.

yah i noticed mello1 consistently makes rude comments. i love your home. kitchen could use some pizzaz... like maybe those 'stick on tile' decor things and maybe lose the collage board and put some big soft bold art piece to tie in the light pink and white vibe.
