What I Love About My Home


My favorite aspect is the combination of the hardwood floors and natural lighting. Every room but the bathroom has a window, and the main bedroom has two! I love how bright the space is all day and the way the light reflects off the floor. It gives the apartment a warm, welcoming feel.

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


The biggest challenge for me is kitchen storage. It's the smallest kitchen I've ever had. There are no drawers, limited cabinet space, and almost no wall to work with. A lot of things are stored out of reach and after a year and a half I feel like I'm still struggling to make them more accessible.

I like how the kitchen/eating area is the center of the apartment. Whenever I have people over, that's where they tend to gather, anyway. I envy your light!

I use a filing cabinet for my extra kitchen things! Works great. :)
