What I Love About My Home


I love that I have been able to create an environment that is comfortable and functions well and also is great space for me to relax, work, eat and sleep. I've been able to showcase some of my favorite items from my grandfather's vintage Polaroid to my Harry Allen resin gold rollerskate. A few new light fixtures and dimmer switches go a long way!

Biggest Challenge in Furnishing My Home


When moving into my apartment, I was downsizing from 850 sq. ft. I was thinking I would need to install vertical storage, but also wanted to be able to hang my artwork. I knew it would be challenging to do both. Ultimately, I ended up pairing my down my possessions and realized I really didn't need to purchase a lot of additional storage pieces. The art looks great and is one of my favorite parts of the space! Many of the pieces remind me of traveling, friends and family.

I agree the art looks great! Art is way more important than storage. You've done a fabulous job editing. I love the turquoise color of the walls in your dining room. Adding you to my favorites. Good luck!
